Trainer training
The trainer training is also aimed at people who would like to work as a trainer in good time.
Content
- In each level, course concepts are taught (with the exception of the basics of teaching) and the skills to teach these course contents to the participants
- Different types of learners are discussed. Trainers learn methods to cater to the different needs of the participants. (Explanations, demonstration methods, motivation, correction tips, subdivision of complex moves into different sub-steps, etc.)
- In addition to the pole-specific content, warm-up, cool-down and safety techniques are taught
- In addition to the sporting content, the person taking the training receives knowledge and skills for dealing appropriately with the participants (politeness and demeanor, confident behavior, avoidance of discrimination, etc.)
- Application for an apprenticeship position (examination of the existing basic requirements)
- Attendance phase (4 days / 2 days) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. / 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Practical (except 'Basics of Teaching') and written examination (completion of the face-to-face phase)
- Attendance phase: Exercise in small groups. Learning and implementing the course concepts, answering questions, addressing differences in the personalities of trainers and participants. Lesson structure and course concept. Safety instructions.
- Teaching sample: According to the respective level, each participant holds an exam to design a lesson. This lesson is held live in front of lesson participants. (except: 'Basics of Teaching')
- written exam: review of the theoretical basics; the evaluation takes place on the same day
How to get recognition:
We have translated the entire training concept into English and sent it to the PDC headquarters. If everything is in order (content, didactic, price-performance ratio), the training has been successfully tested. If at least 2 people, who have to be members of the PDC as trainers and have completed this training, then send a reference, the second step of the examination takes place. The last step of the examination is the circular mail to all members of the PDC. If no objection is raised within a certain period, then the training is recognized.

What is the education bonus?
The state subsidizes 50% of the training costs (max. € 500).
